Tiny Tina is your dungeon master as you play through a tabletop inspired game board between missions to get into the looter shooter action you know and love. Released on PS5 just this March, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is an exciting departure from Borderlands whilst still maintaining the charm, gunplay and art style of the series. Gearbox's latest big title is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. The only reason it isn't higher on this list is that the game is a bit too short, and unless you're keen on replays you may feel a bit short-handed with this one. Super easy to pick up and play with a friend we highly recommend Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge as the best 2-player beat-em-up game available right now on PS5. Shredder's Revenge boasts 7 playable characters each with their own unique abilities, 4 being obviously our turtles and then Casey Jones, April O'Neill and our faithful master Splinter. With the ability to play up to 6-player co-op, there are plenty of chaotic high jinks to be had with friends in this title.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge brings the turtle back to their old-school retro style that I'm sure will tug at some nostalgia strings for those who grew up in the arcade. Such talent only reinforced The Quarry ’s commitment to setting in the frights, all of which can be enjoyed as you try and survive the night in glorious local or online co-op.ħ. The likes of Disney’s Brenda Song and Modern Family’s Ariel Winter are joined by recognisable icons from horror cinema, including David Arquette (Scream) and Lance Henriksen (Aliens, The Terminator).
Helping to bring this gruesome story to life is none other than a who’s who cast of Hollywood A-listers. Instead you will take turns controlling different characters, making decisions to try and keep them alive. It’s different to most 2 player PS5 games on this list in that co-op players don’t play at the same time. It’s an interactive, choose-your-own-adventure style experience that throws back to schlocky B-movie slashers in the best way, letting you control a group of teens trying to survive the night at a camp when suddenly something in the woods lurks. If you can stomach your horror and want a way to get scared on the couch with friends, look no further than the latest co-op release from Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology developer, The Quarry. Customise your own Knight and have fun with a friend… Gotham Knights is a better open-world superhero experience when played as a 2 player PS5 game. Batman might no longer be around but there’s plenty of variety found in this exclusive next-gen title, whether you want to compete in timed races, prevent bank heists, or come face-to-face with iconic Batman baddies like Harley Quinn, Mr. The entirety of the Gotham Knights campaign is fully playable in PS5 online co-op, truly making you feel like a superhero team up we’d usually expect to see from the comics. Players who prefer to play stealthily, meanwhile, will feel right at home with Robin, excellent for sneaking around before unleashing havoc up-close with his bo staff. Red Hood, for example, plays more like a brute, with his guns letting you safely take down enemies from afar (in addition to his mystic, Lazarus pit abilities). All four of Batman’s protégés have to pick up the cowl after the Dark Knight mysteriously dies, which is never a chore thanks to a generous suite of cool abilities unique to each. One of 2022’s biggest PS5 co-op game releases is none other than Gotham Knights, an entirely original story set in a different universe from the Arkham games that lets you and a buddy prowl the Gotham city streets as either Red Hood, Batgirl, Robin, or Nightwing.
